These days it’s easier to get help with anything you need. It seems like google, twitter, wikipedia, etc is just at the tip of our finger tips. Recently while seeking car insurance and not getting the answers from the companies directly, I took to the internet to find the necessary help needed.
It was related to taking a trip overseas and the question was related to whether it was necessary or not to get temporary car insurance seeing that we would be renting a vehicle for the duration of the trip. With Ping.fm I was able to send a tweet and facebook status update with the question. Within seconds, friends and followers were able to reply with the right response to point us in the necessary direction.
Funny how technology has come a long way. No longer do we have to be placed on hold to get an answer from a rep. You friends, followers and anyone who has you in their view can help you whenever you need. Wouldn’t it be great if the same customer service could take place in the social web as well?
